A definite must-have for smartphone photography! I first hesitated backing v2 until I wished I had one when there was a surge in auroras last year. It’s very lightweight and compact that one can easily fit even in an Apple MagSafe wallet (with some compromise). The notch that holds your smartphone has a nice guide for how much angle your device is tilted. It’s not hard to swivel the notch and it stays in place even with bigger smartphones.
Useful and handy sized. The pocket tripod is great! Love that it comes with various sized adapters for different sizes of phones and cases. It’s impressively steady for something so little. My only complaint is that thunder pink is more purple than pink, but the alien blue is colored nicely.

As someone who does a lot of photography and video on my phone and often needs to prop it up on random things, this little gadget is truly incredible. It is a little more flimsy than I expected because I expected more of a metal design, but it is still very cool. It is super easy to set up with one hand, and the little card that came with it allowed it to fit my phone really well.

A Lifetime Warranty That Truly Meant Lifetime. I purchased my original Pocket Tripod back in 2013. For more than 13 years, it lived in my wallet and traveled with me every single day. It eventually broke after years of faithful service, and I contacted Geometrical hoping there might be a replacement option. To my surprise, they immediately honored their Lifetime Warranty without any hesitation. Unfortunately, the replacement became stuck in Turkish customs because of local import regulations. Even though it was clearly marked as a warranty replacement with a value of $0, I was unable to receive it. I even drove nearly 40 km to the international customs office, saw the package with my own eyes, and still had to leave without it. At that point, many companies would simply have apologized and closed the case. Scott Moore and the Geometrical team did exactly the opposite. Scott stayed in touch throughout the entire process, patiently discussing every possible solution with me. When I suggested sending the replacement to a friend living in Germany, he immediately arranged everything. To make sure it arrived before my friend traveled back to Turkey, Geometrical even upgraded the shipment from the Netherlands to 3-day express delivery at no additional cost to me. As an extra precaution, Scott also arranged a second shipment from China to maximize the chances that at least one package would arrive in time. Yesterday, thanks to my friend returning from Berlin, my new Pocket Tripod finally reached my hands safely. This experience stopped being about a phone stand a long time ago. It became a story about trust, integrity, and a company that genuinely stands behind its products and its customers. After more than 13 years, Geometrical proved that Lifetime Warranty is not just a marketing phrase. They truly mean it. Scott, thank you for your patience, kindness, and dedication. Great that it fits in wallet as i always have it on me. It seems a little unstable in landscape mode so depending on terrain may effect the picture framing which is probably why sometimes when phone in landscape two are used. Good you can attach it to a tripod if required.
