Shipping policy
All orders are shipped from the United States. International (Non-US) orders are generally subject to local import duties and taxes (VAT) which are not assessed until the shipment enters the destination country. See the INTERNATIONAL VAT & CUSTOMS section below for details.
GENERAL
Please note that we cannot ship to a P.O. Box. You must enter a street address before placing your order. Once an order has been processed, we are not able to upgrade or change shipping methods. We are also unable to modify or cancel the items on your order once it has been confirmed.
TURNAROUND
All orders in stock are shipped within 1 business day via USPS, Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm.
TRANSIT TIMES
Domestic (U.S.) orders generally arrive within 1-2 business days once shipped. International orders take an average of 2 weeks to arrive.
ORDER TRACKING
If a tracking # is provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your order with the tracking information once it is received.
INTERNATIONAL VAT & CUSTOMS
International orders are generally subject to local import duties and taxes (VAT). We are not responsible for, nor can we offer, any specific advice regarding any customs related fees that you may incur. For specific information, please consult with your local government import office.
U.K. VAT & CUSTOMS
You’ll be contacted by Royal Mail explaining how to pay any VAT once your package arrives. You will be charged VAT, but custom duties or only applicable to order values higher than £135. Royal Mail also charges n £8 handling fee for processing the VAT before delivering the item.

E.U. VAT & CUSTOMS
The amount of custom duty and import VAT payable will be assessed at the point of entry of the destination country. This may result in you having to pay additional charges which are not included in the total price displayed at checkout.
For import VAT, the applicable rate is that of the country where the goods are being delivered.
Generally speaking VAT is not due when the total value of all goods in a consignment (value not inclusive of custom duties or transport costs) is less than the destination country threshold. The threshold may vary from €10 euro to €22 euro, depending on the EU country. Customs duty may not be applicable for goods where the value does not exceed €150 euro.

U.S. Taxes
We collect sales tax for orders shipped to an address within the following US states:
Virginia, Texas, Michigan, Illinois, Florida, Arizona, North Carolina, California
Sales tax is not a VAT, and cannot be recovered by non-USA visitors when returning home.
RETURNS
If you return a product to us, you will be the exporter from the destination country. Title and risk of loss transfer to us upon our receipt of the merchandise. Shipping carriers will assist you in recovering your taxes and duties for a fee. Please contact shipping carriers directly to initiate this service.
Your privacy is important to us. We strive to exceed your expectations for privacy. Cross-border shipments are subject to inspection by customs authorities. We may also be called upon to provide certain order, shipment, and product information to our international carriers. Carriers may communicate such information to customs authorities for the purpose of facilitating customs clearance and compliance with local laws.
INTERNATIONAL DELAYS
Cross-border shipments going through customs inspections can delay delivery. These delays are out of our control as well as the carriers. Please check with your local government import office to determine what you can expect for any delays associated with the arrival of your order.
SHIPPING TO FREIGHT FORWARDERS OR OTHER NON-RESIDENTIAL ADDRESSES If you use a freight forwarder or ship to a non-residential address (such as a hotel) : GEOMETRICAL is not responsible for damage, defect, material difference, or loss that occurs to goods after they're delivered. This means that GEOMETRICAL is not able to provide a replacement of, or refund for, any such goods delivered to a freight forwarder or non-residential address. You should instruct freight forwarders to refuse goods that arrive damaged, and goods lost after being received by a freight forwarder or at a non-residential address will be your responsibility.
