Will it fit my phone?

Pocket Tripod is not made for one phone model. It goes by total thickness: your phone plus its case. That single rule is what makes it work across iPhone and Android, this year and next.

Every kit ships with 9 pairs of engraved size adapters in half millimetre steps, and a Fit Card that tells you which pair your phone needs. You measure once, click in the matching pair, and it holds.

• Standard Fit covers 8.5 mm to 12.5 mm total thickness. This is the right choice for most people: standard phones like the iPhone 18 Pro or Pixel 10, with or without a case.
• Slim Fit covers 5.5 mm to 9.5 mm total thickness, for slim and folding phones like the iPhone Duo, iPhone Air and Galaxy Z Fold, bare or in a thin case. If you will mostly use a foldable folded, choose Standard Fit.

Questions people ask before buying

Does it work with Android as well as iPhone?
Yes. It is not made for a specific model. It goes by phone plus case thickness, so any iPhone or Android inside the fit range you choose will work.

Will it hold my phone with the case on?
In most cases, yes. Measure your phone and case together. Up to 12.5 mm total, choose Standard Fit. Between 5.5 and 9.5 mm, choose Slim Fit. Very thick or armoured cases go above 12.5 mm and will need to come off.

Does it work with foldables like the iPhone Duo?
Yes. It grips the phone by its edge, so the outer screen stays in view and you can frame yourself with the rear cameras at any angle up to 105 degrees. Read the full breakdown for the iPhone Duo.

Will it break?
It is drop tested to 3 metres, rated for 1,000 folds and 1,000 tilts, and every unit is tested before it ships. If it does fail, the limited lifetime warranty covers it.

Will it hold my phone at a steep angle without slipping?
The tilt is continuous through 105 degrees and holds where you set it. The angle indicator lets you return to the same angle next time. Larger phones are stable up to 45° of tilt if the phone is inserted in a portrait (vertical) orientation, and may tip over if the phone's center of gravity passes the base of the stand.

Can I take it through airport security?
Yes. It is 11 grams of carbon fiber and plastic with a small brass thread, and it travels in your wallet.

What if I change phones?
Swap the adapter pair. That is the whole point of the thickness system. The included Fit Card checks any new phone's size, and replacement adapters are free for as long as you own it.

Can I mount it on other gear?
Yes. The 1/4"-20 thread fits standard tripods, gimbals, magic arms, clamps and mounts. Because you can seat the phone on any of its four edges, and each position tilts through 105 degrees, it gives fixed angle gear a full 360 degrees of adjustment. Not suitable for fast moving or action applications. It is a stand, not a rig.
